The Uppingham Typhoid Epidemic, 1875-77
Dr. Nigel Richardson – formerly Deputy Headmaster at Uppingham School and Headmaster of the Perse School, Cambridge – talks about the typhoid epidemic which hit Uppingham in the latter part of the 19th century and its effects upon the town.

The talk will be preceded briefly by the AGM of The Friends of Rutland County Museum & Oakham Castle.
