Thursday 9th November, 7.30pm

Canon Michael Wilson will talk on ‘Queen Mary and Fotheringhay’. Not only was Mary Queen of Scots held prisoner and then executed in Fotheringhay Castle, the castle was the birthplace of Richard III and for a time was owned by the Kings of Scotland. Most of the Castle has now been physically destroyed, but its legacy still casts a long shadow. Canon Wilson will explore aspects of the remarkable history of this once famous royal residence.

Please note the next talk will be held on 9th November (not on 29th as shown in the printed programme). Admission Free. No need to book. All welcome.
